A ring should not have to be chosen from a catalogue

Most precious rings are chosen among those that already exist. We wanted the opposite: to start from you. You describe the ring you have in mind, or let a short image test reveal your taste, what you truly love, often before you know how to name it. LAB IMAGINE draws it before your eyes.

What you see is not a photograph: it is a faithful rendering of the piece to be made, calculated from real proportions, the real weight of metal and the real stones. The price beside it is the price of that very piece.

Then hands take over

An image does not make a ring. When a creation wins you over, it passes into the hands of the artisans of ORIGINE PARIS, in our workshops in France, made to order. There are two ways to buy at LAB IMAGINE: create your own, made for you, or acquire another member’s creation, as a numbered limited edition.

The materials

Our gold is recycled, worked in 14 and 18 carat, alongside 950 platinum and 925 solid silver. It comes from a supply chain certified RJC CoC (Chain of Custody), the Responsible Jewellery Council’s traceability certification. Our diamonds are lab-grown diamonds: real diamonds, created in a laboratory, and we always say so.

The founder

Marie-Ann Wachtmeister is chairwoman and CEO, co-founder and artistic director of ORIGINE PARIS; a pioneer of responsible jewellery, she co-founded Courbet, the first Place Vendôme house to work exclusively with recycled gold and laboratory-grown diamonds. LAB IMAGINE was born of her conviction that a house can open its workshop to the imagination of the people who wear its rings.
