Three measuring tips
Measure at the end of the day: fingers are truest in the evening, never on waking nor after the cold.
The reference ring: measure the inner diameter of a ring that already fits, worn on the same finger.
When in doubt, size up: tightening a ring is simpler than enlarging it.
A wide band feels tighter than a fine one at the same size: always take the band’s width into account. More on choosing in Choosing an engagement ring.
