Is the displayed price the final price?
The price is calculated from an estimate of the gold volume of your project and its stones, at the day’s gold price, and appears once your design is complete. While you create, the displayed price may vary by plus or minus 10% against the price calculated and described in the technical sheet of the ring as generated, whether you compose step by step or in the free way. At order, it is set: what you pay is final. “From” prices only exist on the untouched configurator: once your ring is defined, the figure you see is your project’s own.
Where and by whom is the ring made?
In our partner workshops in Italy and France, made to order, by the house of ORIGINE PARIS, whose creation laboratory LAB IMAGINE is. Every piece is checked before it leaves. Allow six to eight weeks from receipt of the deposit for making and delivery. The clock stops between the moment we send you the 3D design and the moment we receive your approval; we then update your delivery date and tell you what it is.
Are the diamonds natural?
They are laboratory-grown stones: diamonds and coloured stones alike share the composition and properties of mined ones, created in a laboratory. Their nature is always stated, on every page and every piece. Reference quality for white stones: colour D, clarity VS1.
What does recycled gold mean?
Gold from certified remelting channels, remelted and reworked without losing any of its qualities. Our workshops can request at any time the gold certificates of their suppliers, RJC and CoC, downloadable from their sites. We do not buy the gold ourselves: we therefore cannot document its provenance, only the supplier can. We can ask our supplier for a statement that 100% of its gold is recycled. The house works it in 14K and 18K, alongside 950 platinum and 925 sterling silver, which can take a rhodium finish that keeps it bright. Do I need an account to try?
No. The style test, the Shop and the configurator with its price are open without an account. An account is only asked for when you bring your ring to life as an image: your design is kept, and the creation starts on its own once you are signed in.
Is creating free?
Creation runs on credits. The Explorer pack, 9.90 euros as a one-off purchase, opens 300 credits, the taste diagnosis and the creation space; your creations are kept for three months after your last credit is used or expires. Subscription plans will arrive soon.
What is a limited edition of three?
There are two ways to buy at LAB IMAGINE: create your own, or acquire someone else’s creation. Each Shop design can give rise to three numbered pieces. For every order, the ring is drawn anew, preserving the character of the original design. The stone’s proportions, the band’s thickness, the setting’s height or the details of a texture may vary slightly. Each piece is therefore a unique interpretation of the same design. After your order, you approve the 3D model of your ring before it is made. Once all three pieces have been sold, the design is no longer available to order from the Shop.
Can I propose my creation for sale?
You can propose it to the Shop; the house does the choosing, never a vote. And every paid order of one of your creations earns you something: 10% of its price before tax in gold drops, each drop worth 50 euros, rounded up to the next drop. That holds for made-for-you orders as for Shop pieces, and also when the buyer is you: the design is yours. Your proposal can be withdrawn as long as the piece has not sold.
Can I return a piece?
A ring made for you is produced to your own choices: it cannot be returned. For a piece from the Shop, write to us before you order: we will tell you precisely what applies.
Which countries do you deliver to?
Worldwide. Every piece leaves our partner workshops in Italy and France, insured and tracked, within six to eight weeks from receipt of the deposit. The clock stops between the moment we send you the 3D design and the moment we receive your approval; we then update your delivery date and tell you what it is.
In which languages does the service exist?
In French and in English. Every public page exists in both languages, and the app follows the language you choose.
How long does a creation take?
Your creation is usually born in under a minute; occasionally it takes up to two, rarely a little more.
