Is the displayed price the final price?
The price is calculated from the real weight of metal and stones in your project, at the day’s gold price, and appears once your design is complete. While you create, the displayed price may vary by up to 10%. At order, it is set: what you pay is final. “From” prices only exist on the untouched configurator: once your ring is defined, the figure you see is your project’s own.
Where and by whom is the ring made?
In our workshops in France, made to order, by the house of ORIGINE PARIS, whose creation laboratory LAB IMAGINE is. Every piece is checked before it leaves. Allow 6 to 8 weeks for making and delivery.
Are the diamonds natural?
They are laboratory-grown stones: diamonds and coloured stones alike are real stones, identical in composition to mined ones, created in a laboratory. Their nature is always stated, on every page and every piece. Reference quality for white stones: colour D, clarity VS1.
What does recycled gold mean?
Gold from certified remelting channels, remelted and reworked without losing any of its qualities. Our recycled gold comes from a supply chain certified RJC CoC (Chain of Custody), the Responsible Jewellery Council’s traceability certification. The house works it in 14 and 18 carat, alongside 950 platinum and 925 solid silver, which can take a rhodium finish that keeps it bright. Do I need an account to try?
No. The style test, the Shop and the configurator with its price are open without an account. An account is only asked for when you bring your ring to life as an image: your design is kept, and the creation starts on its own once you are signed in.
Is creating free?
Creation runs on credits. The Explorer pack, 9.90 euros as a one-off purchase, opens 30 credits, the taste diagnosis and the creation space; your creations stay kept for three months after your credits run out. Subscription plans will arrive soon.
What is a numbered limited edition?
There are two ways to buy at LAB IMAGINE: create your own, made for you, or acquire another member’s creation. The pieces in the Shop are those creations chosen by the house: made to order, each in a numbered edition of 3, but not made to measure. When the edition is sold out, the piece leaves the Shop. We never say one of a kind: we say exactly how many exist.
Can I propose my creation for sale?
You can propose it to the Shop; the house does the choosing, never a vote. And every paid order of one of your creations earns you something: 10% of its price before tax in gold drops, each drop worth 50 euros, rounded up to the next drop. That holds for made-for-you orders as for Shop pieces, and also when the buyer is you: the design is yours. Your proposal can be withdrawn as long as the piece has not sold.
Can I return a piece?
A ring made for you is produced to your own choices: it cannot be returned. For a piece from the Shop, write to us before you order: we will tell you precisely what applies.
Which countries do you deliver to?
Worldwide. Every piece leaves our workshops in France, insured and tracked, within 6 to 8 weeks.
In which languages does the service exist?
In French and in English. Every public page exists in both languages, and the app follows the language you choose.
How long does a creation take?
Your creation is usually born in under a minute; occasionally it takes up to two, rarely a little more.
