Understanding comes before drawing. The taste test is taken in the appointment, on the screen you hand over: rings go by, your client simply says what pleases them. Within minutes you know what truly moves them: the forms, the volumes, the metals, the stones, the overall bearing, far beyond what they can put into words. You stop guessing and stop offering at random: the creation starts with them. No other tool does this.
The iPad is handed over, or held between the two of you. You compose the ring together, choice by choice, and it appears before their eyes: the right proportions, the metal, the stone, the setting. They see their ring before it exists, and they watch you make it. Every design passes a technical check before it is shown as feasible: the stone secure, the band wearable, the piece castable. You never promise what cannot be made.
The estimate is calculated from your own settings, not ours: your coefficients, your materials, your workmanship. It prices the materials you work with: recycled gold at 750 and 585 fineness, 950 platinum, 925 sterling silver. As for stones, you price both: natural stones and laboratory-grown stones, each in its own section of your rates. You choose what you offer, and you tell your client what they are buying. The price shows as you create, and it is yours.
They leave with something on their finger: the exact form and volume, to wear for a few days before deciding. No image replaces that. From your client's creation, two paths, side by side.
Download the 3D file, free of charge, at your client's exact size, to the millimetre: print it where you like, on your own machine or through your usual service.
Or order the resin, printed in SLA and delivered to you: 95 euros excluding tax for the first piece, 35 euros for each further piece in the same order. You choose the quantity: several sizes of the same ring travel together, at the lower rate.
Once the ring is chosen, the preparation file builds itself: the tastes, the chosen variants, the measurements, the client's agreements, the sizing taken from the try-on ring. It goes to your workshop, ready to work from. The piece is made at your bench, or by the craftsman you work with, wherever they are: you keep your craft, your suppliers and your hand. The tool stops where your trade begins.
